Good Afternoon everyone,

I have to design and optimize pipeline inspection gauge with bypass through middle. I am required to carry out transient model where pipe moves through 2m of pipe with diameter of 195 mm.

It would be really helpful if someone can show me the direction.
As for my experience, I had carried out heat-transfer model in steady state.

Anything will be appreciated.

Please Help !

If you ever get to solving this problem, I would be extremely interested also. I'm also interested in dewatering and drying modelling of pigging operations.

Why do you need to do a transient model? Can't you do a steady-state model, in a reference frame with the PIG stationary, and apply a velocity to the outer wall?
