Passive Scalar
 
Dear users,


I am beginner in cfd. I have encounterd with passive scalar. I have searched on the internet but i just found that diffusion eq that i did not understand.


i will be pleased if anybody tell me what is passive scalar basically?

Is a function that obeys a convection-diffusion equations, in absence of diffusion being a passive tracers.
I suggest to search on the CFD textbooks not on internet....
