I ask for advice on the following question. I solve a problem with a two-phase flow (drops in the steam flow). During the flow, drops fall on the wall and form a liquid film. I use the Euler model with two phases. The secondary phase is a liquid with a drop diameter of 10 microns. My question is, what happens when drops form a film? How to calculate the drag force on the surface of the film? How does the program determine the film surface?
I tried the Multi-Fluid VOF Model, but it requires too small a time step. So I want to use the Euler model.
