Dear sir,

While I did literature survey, I found one paper that is very interesting. It is "Low speed preconditioning applied to the compressible Navier-Stoke equations", the PhD thesis of C. L. Reed at university of Texas at Arlington. I think that it will be useful for me to do my master degree thesis. I was trying to search for C. L. Reed on the internet. Unfortunately I cannot find him. I contacted to the library of university of Texas at Arlington, the librarian said that he can make the copy and then send to me through the library of mine. However It may be cost so much. Actually I have little of money, maybe I cannot afford for it. Actually I would like to ask C. L. Reed the pdf file of his thesis, but I cannot find him on the internet. Do anyone know him or have any suggestion for me.

Thank you very much.

oftentimes an PhD student publishes several papers before he does his thesis. if so you may find much of the info you need in these papers which may be readily available in your university librbary. you can try searching the databases in your library for these papers. another option would be to contact the persons advisor (whose name you can find out from the thesis) and get in contact with him/her

You might check the UT alumni web page at

http://www.texasexes.org/

You can e-mail the staff from there. Depending on their privacy policy, the might give you his (?) address, forward your address to him for action, or ignore you.

On the other hand, they probably won't ignore you. You just might be a rich alumnus : )

Good luck!
