I'm not sure if CFD Online is the right place to ask this question, but I figured it would be a good place to start.
Part of my work involves analyzing propellers and I have been told that XROTOR would be a good tool for what I need to accomplish. I'm having some trouble compiling and running the program. Has anyone managed to successfully do so on either an Ubuntu or Windows 10 system? If so, how did you manage to successfully compile and run it? Following the documentation provided on the XROTOR site is getting me nowhere. |

I downloaded CROTOR which is basically XROTOR with some 'add-ons'. You can just use the XROTOR functionality if that's what you want to do.

I'm having troubles using Xrotor too. I'm using it to analyze a propeller, but unfortunately I can get the results which exist in an article. the first datum is right (thrust has the exact amount of experimental thrust) but after that CT doesn't change and always follows the same trend.
