Desired yplus

Hello every one, hope you all be safe and happy:).
i'm trying to simulate a wing in specific condition using ICEM for meshing part.and i'm creating structured mesh.i'm using k-w sst model and i find my first Cell Height 3.8mm from:
''computationalfluiddynamics.com''.i know in order to benefit of sst model i should have 15 nodes in my Boundary layer.so can you help me which Bunching Laws i should use and how setup it's properties?
Sorry for bad language.
Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Use this y+ calculator

https://www.pointwise.com/yplus/

Based on your inlet flow parameter and using y+ = 1 get the desired first cell wall spacing. Use that spacing with a ratio of 1.2. You can use any bunching law as long as the final solution is grid-independent. The important point is if you are using low-Re models you should ensure your y+<1.

Remember, y+ is a post-processing parameter and so you must check after you get the final solution if the y+ on wall is less than 1 or not otherwise you may have a smaller first cell-distance.
