process speed in fluent

Hello guys. hope you be healthy.i have two question.
When Run i processing 6m hexa element in fluent and choose 1 cores,the speed is two low,then when i set 3 cores in parallel tab the speed become more low. 1.what is the reason of decreasing speed by switching 1 to 3 cores? 2.what should i do to increase the speed of process? My OS is windows 10 64 bit My ram is 8 gb and my cpu have 4 cores and 0 hyperthread. |

Check your RAM usage during calculation, you might be exceeding your RAM capacity. If you are over-capacity, increasing number of cores will slow it down since it has to load and un-load all the time.
