Choosing solver for pressure inlet boundary condition

Dear all, as I'm new to CFD, I really need some advice to choose the solver and turbulence model.

I have a pack of cylinders(solid, T=25degC) with 2mm space in between placed in a box(cube with air, T=25degC). I have a small pressure inlet (2mm) at the corner and the gas (say CO2) comes out of it with a pressure 3MPa and a temperature 1000degC. Obviously, the flow is turbulent. I have to solve for the heat transfer between this pressurized high-temperature jet and solids.

Can someone suggest me the solver (Pressure based or density-based) and turbulence model to be used?

many thanks.
