Hi, everyone, I am using Green Guass Node based (GGNB) method for spatial discretization for my transient case. I need to read about its method analytically. My supervisor has asked me to explain it mathematically. The formula how is it derived and how it works? Anyone know about it? Give me any link, book chapter or paper from where I can find it? It is my assignment, Your help will be highly appreciated. Thank you!

It is, specifically, a gradient discretization method for unstructured grids, popularized by Fluent. It is a standard green-gauss method where the face values are computed by averaging the values in the nodes of the face. The latter are computed from the cells sharing the node trough a least squares procedure.
See here https://www.afs.enea.it/project/nept...th/node368.htm and the cited references. The book by blazek has a detailed explanation of the least squares part and relative references |
