Hello
I understand that we should aim for minimum faces on an object so that we can decrease the number of intersection edges.
But, are there any guidelines on which faces are preferred to be meshed.
For example, take a general aircraft fuselage with 4 faces. Would you merge the top two faces and bottom two faces to get a total of 2 faces and have face intersection edges along the sides (where the windows would be, just to help you visualize, windows are not present).
Or, would you merge the entire left side and the entire right side, and have the common edges at the top and bottom?

How is this influenced if we want to boolean add wings later on
