I'm simulating a small rocket nozzle and currently conducting a grid convergence study of my simulation. I'm using a plot of thrust along the outlet plane (in the radial direction) to evaluate the different grids.
However, I would like a single value of thrust to make it easier to compare. How can I calculate an averaged thrust? |

In order to get a thrust value with Newton as a unit as the plot suggests, you need to integrate over the area anyway. Which is what I would suggest to get a single value for thrust.
