Heat transfer with thermoSingleLayer

I am trying to build a case for conjugate heat transfer using reactingParcelFoam solver. Both thermoSingleLayer.c and thermoSingleLayer.H mention heat transfer coefficient from wall but i cannot understand how it is activated. If anyone has encountered and solved this problem please reply.
