How do we know the simulation was switched to LES, while using DES model
 

I am using Detached eddy simulation model (DES) in fluent. I want to make sure that the simulation is being switched to LES model away from the wall. How do we know that this swtich happen. Is there any quantity/idicator that can prove that this switch is happen.
