Dear all,
I am currently working on thermal AC plasma arcs. I tried to run a simulation on Fluent coupled with Ansys' MHD module, but ran into a major problem: the current/voltage boundary condition can only be a constant value, and therefore, I cannot solve the MHD equations by simulating an AC current that forms the plasma arc. Does anyone know of a tool where it is possible to solve an MHD model by implementing an AC current on a surface (i.e. adding a equation for the current as boundary condition on a surface). Thank you in advance for your assistance, Jad. |
