breznak is on a distinguished road
Hello,

(please see the attachment)

I want to use the velocity field at case 1 outlet as the velocity-inlet at case 2 inlet.

For the simulation of only case 1, which boundary condition for outlet should I use? It should be fixed mass flow rate?

Case 1 and Case 2 are geometrically connected, so I think pressure outlet with 0 Pa for case 1 simulation is wrong.

Regards
Breznak

I generally hate when this happens, but I have to ask you to give use some details about your general problem. What is, actually, the end result that you want to achieve? What is impeding the simulation of both domains together?

This is because the approach you are asking about is wrong in general. So we need to know the larger context to maybe rationalize the wrong answer that works in your case
