Hi ! I am looking for references on implementation of dynamic subgrid scale models (especially LES) with finite element methods on unstructured grids. Does anybody have something ? Thanks

hi,

check the reference:

"Stabilized Finite Element Method for Computing Turbulence." Jansen, Kenneth E.; Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering, v 174 n 3-4, p 299-317, May 1999.

Sincerely,

Frederic Felten

Try to look at this:

S. W. Sloan, and M. F. Randolph; "Automatic Element Reordering for Finite Element Analysis with Frontal Solution Schemes"; International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, 19(8), 1153-1181, 1983.
