Difference between muiltphase flow and species transport

Hi,

I am simulating bubble flow and species transport in alkaline electrolyzer. The cathode department consists of two domain; porous transport layer (PTL) and catalyst layer (CL).

I simulated first multi-phase flow which showed that bubbles have high volume fraction in PTL as compared to CL (which is also true because PTL has high permeability then CL's permeability).

After, I simulated transport of species which showed that dissolved species are higher in CL as compared to PTL and according to henry's law (bubbles concentration is higher in CL).

I couldn't understand why these two physics show different results. Can someone help me to explain about this discrepancy.
