Hello everyone~!
I want to be recommended paper that deals with eigenvalue based vortex identification.
I've tried to read below paper.
https://doi.org/10.1017/S0022112095000462
But it was too hard to me.
Maybe, because I'm short to mathematics, it is hard to read for me.
Can you recommend paper that describes eigenvalue based vortex identification easily?
Thank you~!

If you have difficulties in understanding the role of eigenvalues and eigenvectors in the identification criteria, I think you will find the same difficulties in any paper based on that.
You can start from the papers in the references, it would be better if you go first in the linear algebra topic.
