co2 concentration inside room

Hi guys,
I intend to model the distribution of CO2 in a room. I have written the governing equation for CO2 concentration, but I have the CO2 production rate in the room in units of L/s. How can I convert this production rate to ppm/s?

Divide by the volume over which the production occurs (the entire room?) and then multiply by 1 million

Thank you for responding.

The production of CO2 occurs through the breathing of individuals present in a room. Shouldn't we divide the rate of CO2 production by the exhaled air rate of individuals and multiply it by one million to obtain the ppm (parts per million) value?

well that would certainly depend on whether your rate in L/s is for one person or one thousand. When you say you have the rate, I have to assume that you actually have the rate.

The concentration of CO2 is not dependent on the number of individuals. If we divide the CO2 production rate in L/s by the exhaled air rate in L/s, whether it is for one person or one thousand people, the CO2 production rate will remain constant in ppm/s (parts per million per second).

Now, my question is how to convert the CO2 production rate from L/s to ppm/s, regardless of whether there is one person or one thousand people.
