I want to simulate a flow around a circular cylinder for vortex induced vibrations, I made a simulation in 2d using UDF to apply constrictions to the movement, two springs in xy directions attached to the cylinder. How can I make a similar case but in 2-way FSI using system coupling with transient structural and fluent? There are some structures attached to the cylinder too, can I use an UDF for the cylinder and 2-way FSI for the structures attached to the cylinder at the same time?
thanks in advance |
