Transient CFD Analysis of Rotor and Stator | Time Transformation | Ansys CFX

Hi there,
I'm trying to do a simulation of {impeller + diffuser}.
no of blades in impeller, diffuser is 15 and 25 respectively.

1. The following image shows the Boundary conditions of the simulation:

2. The following image shows the basis setting of Transient blade row model of the simulation:

but while processing the simulation it shows an error, as shown in Picture:

Your efforts will be warmly appreciated.

Hi,
divergence could be due to the large pressure difference i.e. from 1 to 5 bar. This huge presusre gradient can causae problem particularly at early iterations where flow field is not properly formed. You need a really good initial solution to tackle the issue.
Also you can check convergence with lower pressure differences.

Best

Check if you have some potential flow based initialization.
