Stagnantwater is on a distinguished road
Hello everyone,

I’ve been assigned to apply the Navier-Stokes equations for a simple Couette flow over a plate and compare my results with existing data. I’ve chosen OpenFOAM as my tool for this task.

I’d appreciate any suggestions or advice, particularly regarding:
  • Setting up boundary conditions and meshing.
  • Selecting the most suitable solver for this case.
  • Post-processing techniques for validation and comparison.
If you have experience working with OpenFOAM on similar problems, please share any tips, resources, or best practices that might help me. I’d also welcome feedback on potential pitfalls to avoid during the simulation.
