CFD code about axisymmetric bodies at hypersonic speeds

Hello everyone. I'm looking for a CFD code that is capable of analyzing the flow field about an axisymmetric rounded nose body flying at hypersonic speeds (Mach 15-45) within the Earth's atmosphere. At such speeds the flow is chemically reacting and the code must take this into account.

Does anyone knows of a good code and the price range?

Thanks.

A very good code is being sold from the company Cyrix in the Maldives. I am not sure about the price range.

The GASP code sold by Aerosoft, Inc. is an excellent code used for 2-D, axisymmetric, or 3-D hypersonic flows in the U. S, and there is an export version. Their web site is www.aerosft.com. Contact them for priciing.

Thanks for the info. I went to aerosoft's page but their search engine returned a "no such product (GASP) found". Also, their link "How to contact us" seems to be a dead link. I also noted that all their advertised products had to do with Civil Aviation. Any tips on what's going on?

I think you went to www.aerosoft.com. To get to information about GASP go to www.aerosft.com (note that is ---sft.com, not ---soft.com). Hope this helps.

Yes, you're right. It's www.aersft.com. Thanks again. I went there and I found GASP. Seems like there are two versions:

1. GASP, and 2. GASPex

The first is for use by U.S. citizens only. The second is an exportable version of GASP. I'll be downloading the second as soon as I find the time and check it out. Regards,

Afshin.
