Re: A very curious beginner
I am woundering if any person has moddeled confined vortex breakdown using a commerical CFD package/or otherwise, and if so what turbulenmce model would best mimic the vortex type flow behaviour. Also what numerical scheme would aquire the most accurate numerical solution.

Re: introduction of cfd.
There are many books and softwares regarding CFD. Any way, you are online with a good cfd link (CFD-Online.com) I recommend the book by Dr. John D. Anderson Jr. "Computational Fluid Dyanmics : The basics with application." by McGraww-Hill publication.
You can use other search engines on the net to find out more about CFD. Enjoy yourself. Vijay Thaker Final year undergrad. Aeronautics University Technology of Malaysia. |
