Egyption Pyramid with All HEXA (II)
 

Thanks for everyone showed interested in this problem. It's been one of the hottest topics in meshing field. My personal interests are not just for that pyramid which is only one of the problems out of hundreds but the 'GENERAL APPROACH-AUTOMATIC ALGORITHM' even for the geometry with the simplest features.

After 30 years of researches which have been done by 'INWARD' approach maybe like CUBIT, people have not succesfully come up with automatic algorithm for hexa. To be precise, at least for HEX. As you know, meshing has improved a lot but still getting complaining from designers for the bottle neck. Simulation 3 days, meshing 3 months.

How can we get an algorithm considering the inside 'core topology' of the feature from the outside 3 directions and make it work automatically. Indeed, needs Revoloution, not evolution.
