Simulation of Crystal Growth in Vapor

Hello!

I am working on the NaCl precipation and crystal growth process in supersaturated vapor. I am not clear about how to simulate this process.

Is there somepeople who has experience on this aspect? Your suggestion will be helpful for me.

Thanks!

Jing

You can try the phase fluid methods. According to a friend of mine, these methods have had lot of problems for a long time but they have been resolved recently and the method works well for two-phase flow problems with phase transitions. He has successfully used it for solidification processes including dendritic growth. The method is explained and reviewed well in this paper.
