Centrifugal Pump Modeling

I want to write a computer model for the centrifugal pump for irrigation (I try by Matlab Software), I want predict the pump characteristics curves and to calculate all types of losses " a general model" and also to predict the effects of pump speed change. Can you help me for doing that. Please is there and books , papers, or Software that could help me, did someone make the same work before, what is your suggestions for that.

(1). There is a good pump website you can visit first, http://www.fortunecity.com/meltingpot/broadway/1211/ (2). There are also a few books on centrifugal pumps available. (3). There was also a company selling pump and compressor performance code (called NREC?).

Re: Centrifugal Pump Modeling

Concepts recently bought NREC, resulting in one company (Concepts NREC) which sells both pump design codes, and books on how to design pumps.
