Hi

I am student of the University of Twente. Can someone please explain to me if you can do DNS with first order implicit time differencing? I know it is not practical but in theory is it possible? If you take a small enough time step would it converge to the correct solution or would the discretization be too dissipative? If it is too dissipative can someone please explain to me why or refer to an article about it?
