Does anyone know of a 2-D grid generator that'll allow you to fix certain points?? Regards T

(1). A 2-D mesh generation code will give you the location of each mesh point. (2). If you write the mesh to an ASCII file, then you can edit the location. That is, you can type in the new location (x,y).

Hi,

It is very easy to generate grid by fixing some points. but u have to use elliptic grid generators for better results. if u know the concept of 'h' grid then u can get idea regarding this. In some cases you will treate obstacle in a geometry as a line in computational domain(h grid). simiarly u treate the point as fixed one in computational domain. if u want more info u contact me at akular@hotmail.com.

i hope this info helps you.

1. are you talking about structured grids or unstructured grids? 2. are you talking about fixing points inside the domain or along the boundaries?
