Default Multigrid and Jacobian

Hi,

I'm working with an FDM method and implementing an FAS MG. I would like to know how should I treat the Jacobian of the mesh when restricting and prolongating. I store the Jacobian-scaled properties.

Currently, I descale the properties to restrict and then scale again by the new mesh Jacobian. However, the same does not go with the residue. Is it right?

There would be any hint regarding the problem of the Jacobian of the mesh transformation?

regards

What kind of equations do you use for simulation?

Hi, I am using an explicit, 2nd order, 3-D finite difference algorithm, with central differences. Artificial dissipation is calculated using the scalar Turkel&Vatsa model. This code is used for rocket-like configuration applications and solves Euler or laminar NS. Boundary conditions include: far field, exit, center-line averaging and solid wall 1st-order extrapolation.

Best regards,

Biga
