Pipe Flow

A really stupid question. What would be the boundary conditions for a pipe flow except for specifying the inlet flow.

Re: Pipe Flow

at wall you have to apply no slip conditions. at exit gradient of the properties are zero provided your pipe length is sufficient. i mean fluid is fully developed. are want to treat the flow as axisymmetric?.

are you treating the flow as a laminar or turbulent. which turbulence model u want to use?.

then you to consider some more stuff. by rajani
