# on Boundary Condition for P' equation

 August 23, 2001, 11:31 on Boundary Condition for P' equation #1 Abhijit Tilak Guest   Posts: n/a Hi friends, I am solving Visc. Incomp flow. in a curved channel using SIMPLE. My outlet is sufficiently far from the bend region. I am specifying uniform pressure at exit (It's known) . I have no Idea what boundary condition to give on Pressure correction ie P'. Can anyone throw some light. Thanks Abhijit.

Usually pressure is updates as p^(m+1) = p^(m) + p' here m is iteration number. If pressure is fixed, p'(pressure correction) is zero. That means Dirichlet BC is used at the boundary for pressure correction equation.
