Default frict.fact. variation with T dependent viscosity

I've found a correlation for the variation in fanning friction factor due to the temperature dependency of liquid viscosity for fully developed flow between two fixed T parallel plates (e.g. a reduction factor in f=1/6(7-(Visc@free streamT/Visc@wallT)) compared to fixed Visc f values).

Anyone know if this holds for circular pipe flow as well?

Fred.
