Hi dear friends,

What is the definition of an isotropic fluid flow ?

1. Isotropic means rotation free.

2. Consider rectangular window which is fixed at one spot but only can rotate.

3. During the rotaion of the window, the images of flow field are unchanged. It is isotropic.

4. Isotropic tensor can describe the flow field.
