(1). I have just visited the website presented. (2). The website has a picture of burial site of a Chinese Emperor. (3). I think, anybody digging up someone's tomb, king's or emporor's burial sites, simply has no respect of the dead. Thus, they are greedy people without souls, interested in making money only. (4). Cover again the burial site, otherwise, it will bring bad luck to everybody, including China. If the people can not allow the dead to sleep peacefully, then they are not qualified to talk about the scientific computing at all.

I disagree. I think that if you are interested in digging up someone that you are more qualified to be a scientist from your shear curiousity. Btw.. its not respect for the dead, its respect for people who believe that there is actually something beyond this world. I doubt that the dead even care! Personally, I hope some dog has a great time chewing on my bones. Or my skeleton gets used in some University.

No, logic in that statement what-so-ever.

(1). I think, when the Pyramid in Egypt was opened, when the Emperor's burial site in China was opened, it released the ghosts out into their future world. (2). The only way back to their own time is to kill people in this current world. I hope that is not what is happening, Dear King Tut. You should not be in the current world at all. (3). If one does not have respect for the dead, he must be the ghost in the wrong time looking for victims. (4). My feeling is, if everyone respect the dead (and understand why dead dies), then you are going to see the peace in the world. The ghost does not have fear to die, because he is already dead, a dead in the wrong world can be a source of war.

(1). Well, don't worry, I will fade away step-by-step. (2). After all, what you see is nothing but the pixels on your screen. I really don't want to occupy your very important brain memory at all. (but your brain activity is none of my business)

(1). Oh, by the way, I think I learned from newspaper that Xian has a primary Satellite Control Center nearby and aircraft company. Naturally, it includes the intelligence satellites operations I think.

Without digging up something, we will not know where we are from, who we are and what we will become. I personally believe CFD also needs some digging-ups.

On the contrary, we respect the old masters even more after the dig. Hope that John does not get too worked up and has a good rest.

(1). Dr. Wen-Ho Lee's case is not over I think, because I still see the active work in Chinese American professional societies, trying to help him and the society. (2). The reports said that it was all started when Dr. Lee visited China in a couple of scientific exchange meetings in Peiking in late 80's. So, today's visit could easily become a trap for someone ten years later, I guess. One should look at the Japanese American in world war II, and the current surge of the hate crime world wide. (3). If in this post-Internet age, China is still controlling the Internet access, then the original purposes of information exchange is no longer there at all. (4). This Internet forum has been here for over three years already, no one has to travel to another country for the purpose of information exchange at all. The reason is very simple. and You know why. (5). We don't know whether there was a role in the Dr. Wen-Ho Lee's case in the spy vs spy war between Peiking and Washington. But I am sure that if the announcement has to come here (he understands that Internet can be used for information exchange) and yet the meeting has to be in Xian, with visit to Emperor's burial site as the main attraction, then something is not logically right. (6). If you think that you are doing CFD, then come here and present your ideas and post messages. Don't come here just looking for innocent victims. (7). If you don't want to be part of this forum, yet come here to post the announcement, then my intuition tells me that there is another spy vs spy plot between Xian and Washington. (one of the US satellite company has already been accused of leaking information to China as reported by news not long time ago. (8). It is important to warn our innocent readers ahead of time, because they are not our regular readers of this forum.

(1). Do you have any real CFD questions to present? (2). This is the CFD forum, and the webmaster has already created a separate "cfd news and announcement" for you people. (3). Please just move over to that location, please. If you can't observe the rule here, then you don't have a right to say anything. This tells us how the meeting is organized, I guess. Should we complain directly to the US Army Office?

shiva-G,

be a good boy and apologize.... Are you both working in the field of CFD? My feeling is : the curse of the destruction of China is irreversible now, even if the Emperor's burial site is covered right away. And if others are posting their announcement in the news section, then I would like to see that both of you also apologize to the readers of this forum. That's all.

Chien, you cracks about china are not welcome in this forum.

To the web master: I am really getting tired of reading these sarcastic and unprofessional response behind the person under the name J.C. Chien. Would it be difficult to include an "ignore" option for the user, which would hide all posts from the IP address? I could just not read his responses but I would rather not even see his name.

There is no way to automatically filter-out messages posted by a certain individual. In this type of threaded discussions it is usually not a good idea to do this beacause it will break a lot of threads and make it difficult to follow the discussions when pieces are missing.

If you think that a certain individual is annoying the best approach is to ignore him - don't try to answer his posts, even if your first reaction is to write a long reply telling him that he is "completely wrong". Some people don't listen to reason and will never change their behaviour - no use wasting your energy on them, write more creative comments to other peoples posts instead.

Finally, I should say that I can ban people from this forum. However, I will only do this under very extreme circumstances and when the vast majority of forum-readers agree on this. If you feel that someone should be banned please feel free to contact me via email.

All of this talk of banning one of the best resources on this forum is amazing. I thought 'educated' people were not afraid of a little philosophy mixed in with their CFD. Is the purpose of CFD not to discern the truth of the flow field?

As far as banning people from speaking their mind you might as well keep that in communist countries ala china... John may stray at times from the subject but imho it is generally to try to make us think about our question and the rest of the time he directly helpful. Censorship screams out like a communist banshee... what are you afraid of, he might speak the truth????

If you ban John you might as well shut down the forum and let the free-speech advocates from China start one.
