Book about CFD for incompressible flow
Hi
Can you tell me the best book about CFD for incompressible flow? Thank you very much Regards A.M.Yang |
Re: Book about CFD for incompressible flow
I cannot comment if they are the best books - the books I have been familiar with (FDM/FVM/CVM not FEM), are authored by (1)Anderson, Tannehill and Pletcher (2) Patankar and (3)Peric.

Re: Book about CFD for incompressible flow
For FEM methods, this book can also be included:
Incompressible Flow and the Finite Element Method Volume 1: Advection-Diffusion, Volume 2: Isothermal Laminar Flow P. M. Gresho and R. L. Sani John Wiley & Sons, 2000 You can also look in the book section of this forum, many good books are listed there. Regards |

Re: Book about CFD for incompressible flow
One of the best Finite Volume one is the book by Versteeg and Malalasekera, (1995), "An Introduction to CFD - The Finite Volume Method", Longman. There are also books by P. Roache or the book by Ferziger and Peric.

Re: Book about CFD for incompressible flow
see also "Intermediate Finite Element Method" by Heinrich and Pepper. you may also refere to Heinrich's introductory book: "The Finite Element Method: Basic concepts and applications" as a first step. Those book you'll need if you felt that you miss some applications and examples
see you, Danial |
