Has anyone carried out experiments to verify the accuracy of CFD predictions of heat transfer coefficients for ambient temperature air flowing over hot surfaces? (Sufaces at temperatures over 1000 deg. C and velocities 20 -100 m/s).
At a conference several years ago I heard an accuracy of +/- 20% stated. Has anyone got data? |
