Viscoelasticity

Hi everybody,

I'm a student, and for a project I'm trying to model some basic viscoelastic flow cases. We have a Fluent license, but we don't have Polyflow. Can I use Fluent only to do this?

Much Thanks, Edward

Re: Viscoelasticity

Hello Ed,

You can use FLUENT to simulate some Generalized Newtonian models but there is no viscoelastic models available into FLUENT. If viscoelasticity is important to you, I strongly recommend you to further investigate into POLYFLOW.

Best regards,

Thierry
