I'm attempting to model processes in the combustion chamber of a spark ignition engine in StarCD. Trying to find papers on simular work done. Can anybody please refer me to such documents.

Try the T-3 group at Los Alamos. They've been publishing in this area for 25 years. The code family KIVA incorporates most of their technologies. You should be able to find their papers listed there. Since September 11, you'll have to get the papers from your library (or so say posts to this forum).
