I'm trying to solve Stokes equation coupled with mass conservation using finite difference. Changing the system of equation to vorticity-streamlne formulation is desired. Simple flow geomoetry is considered, something similar to parallel plates (or flow through a channel), ie. no flow across the top and bottom boundaries. Not sure about the boundary conditions to be used for vorticity! If someone knows of any good reference or has some advice, PLEASE contact!

Eagerly waiting for some response!!

Thanks in advance for your time. sudipta_s@hotmail.com
