I am modelling the intake manifold and intake port of a diesel engine. Could anyone tell me whether the suction pressure in the combustion chamber is a function of the bore, stroke, rpm only or is it a function of valve dia also. Does anyone knows how to calculate the suction pressure in an IC engine.
