Multiphase data

I have set up a spreadsheet which predicts two phase flow patterns, pressure drop, etc. in an annulus. Does anyone know of any available (preferably online)experimental data with which I can test the accuracy of my spreadsheet? Thanks in advance.

Our laboratory is actually working in two-phase flow patterns, heat transfer and pressure drops in horizontal tubes.

Which kind of model are you using ?? .. What do you mean with:

Re: Multiphase data

I'm using Fluent's VOF model, in attempt to see the main horizontal two phase flow patterns. As a form of validation, I've implemented a spreadsheet based on mechanistic models published in the literature (they are all generally derived from Taitel & Dukler's 1976 model). The spreadsheet attempts to predict the flow pattern, then apply the appropriate pressure drop equation.

Re: Multiphase data

Hi Jesus,

I send you this mail 'cause i am working on the reduction of drag of a yacht ship (on Fluent). I would like to use the VOF model in order to modelise the steady waves of the free surface. Could it be possible for you to tell me the configuration i have to set up for this multiphase modelisation (boundary conditions, initialization, multiphase set up, etc...) ps:I use a steady ,ke model. I thank you for your help. Regards, Remy.
