CFD software for Win NT
 
Hello every body

I'm searching a good CFD soft, which can run under WinNT, in order to calculate coefficients of Lift, Drag and so.. I've only the geometry of an airplane, and i want to known it Cl and Cd versus attack angle to evaluate it perfomance by using an other soft of preformance.

Dear friend,

If you believe in FLUENT, go for it(FLUENT 5)! They have WINNT version of it!

CFX 4 and 5 run on WinNT very well.

How can I use Trial version of CFX5 or Fluent V5?

Go to the suppliers

Fluent: Fluent, USA CFX: AEA Technology, UK

You can find them in the list of companies that support this site by advertisement.

BTW, the latest version of Fluent is Fluent 6.

With respect to your application, read http://www.cfd-online.com/Forum/cfx.cgi?read=2119

There you can find that the commercial package in the list failed. I wonder how other packages will do.
