CFD models -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Xie Guest Posts: n/a	I am a beginner in CFD. Can anyone tell me the classification of CFD models? There are several approaches in CFD, e.g. Lagrangian models and Eulerian models, and also DEM(discrete element method/ distinct element method). It seems that DEM methods are the same as Lagrangian models, does it? Can anyone tell me the difference and definition of these models? Many thanks!
