I would like to find some user review/opinions for a Grid Generation program called GiD. How good is it at multi-block structured grids. http://gid.cimne.upc.es I was considering it to do structured grids for NPARC Wind. I know that I would have to customize it for plot3d input/output. I am not sure how big a task that would be. I am not sure that the grids themselves would be good. It is very inexpensive compared to other Grid codes. (you usually get what you pay for)

Thanks Joe W.

We use gid at TU Berlin to generate grids for STAR-CD, WAMIT, own codes. So far, it works well and is easy to learn.
