Drag over triangle
Hi! I have a very basic/silly question - how would you calculate the drag force over a thin equilateral triangle, placed with the base aligned with the incoming laminar flow? I know that momemtum defect in wake is the drag force, but I end up with the result that the shape of the body and its placement doesn't affect drag! I hope my question is clear. Any hints would be of great help. Thanks.
P.S - This is one of the problems in the text book - 'Viscous Flow' by White. (Problem #4.12)
