Does someone has an Vendor overview with a SWAT analyse about CFD software? Pleas not to technical.

Very interesting, it could be fun to see such a list.

Have you considered that such a list heavily will depend on

-If you are an academic user or industrial. -The business you are in, HVAC, chemical and process, power etc…. -The level of the user, experienced, not so experienced etc….

So how many lists do you need? I could produce quite many different.

There was a CAE market investigation done by Gartner Dataquest a couple of years ago. It also covered the CFD sector and provided a lot of interesting details about market shares etc. I'm sure that you can buy it from Gartner - http://www.gartner.com

I surfed their web site a bit and found the following:

I'm not sure if this is the best document they have though. I remember also seeing a more general CAE overview which was very interesting (comparing growth rates, future strategies etc.)
