Time step size -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Jamo Guest Posts: n/a	I am currently modelling the scavenging process for a small two stroke engine. Some time steps have been taking well over 100 itterations to concerge. They appear to flatten out but do not diverge. Can anyone suggest a relyable method for selecting a suitable timestep?
