Gear's method.

Hi,

Can anyone give me some information or references regarding Gear's method as applied to Runge-Kutta. Also, has anyone some information or references regarding the stability of the Runge-Kutta method?

Re: Gear's method.

hi...gears method is a adaptive time step method similar to runge kutta 5th order...u can get a freeware called odepack on the net..which uses gears method to solve ODEs...its really good for solving stiff ODEs...
