Default Unsteady flows in branched pipes

Can anybody help me to find a serious and general model of a wave interaction with triple/multiple connections in gas-conducting pipelines for numerical computation of unsteady flows within one-dimensional framework? I know some, but no one posess both generality and robustness. Now I am working on such a model, and I have worries about "inventing a bicycle".

Thank you.
